Dear friends,
Life has been fun, for the most part, for Jim and I in 2015. We traveled to the First Mountains of Music Homecoming Festival which took place all over Southwest Virginia, in what's called the Crooked Road, Virginia's Music Heritage Trail. We enjoyed 10 glorious days of music, despite the 95 degree heat. We capped that trip with a Sunset Kayak tour in the ACE Basin of South Carolina, near Beaufort, one of my favorite places in the US.
Bethlehem's Musikfest, always a favorite, brought Miguel and Tama into our travels.
I developed a Website for Jim. You can see his work at jimbwilliamsart.com and his entry in the Annual juried show of Fellowship of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts won an Excellence Award.
I have taken on a 9 month project at Haverford College as Interim Director of the Community Service program, and this has taken a bite from my Zumba and other physical activities at the Y.
My sister visited in September and we met the newest member of the family, her grandson, Lucas.
The pope visited Philadelphia in late September and we left town but still managed to have him in our lives...

One more Musical journey took us to the "52nd Festivals Acadienes et Creoles" in Lafayette, Louisiana. We flew to Nashville and enjoyed the country music atmosphere there and then drove down Route 61, the Blues Highway, and immersed ourselves in the blues. Zydeco and Cajun music topped the trip. Lots of fun and. once again 95 degree weather, even in October!
Jim is doing well, hiking and boxing to stay fit, and I am on the mend from arthroscopic knee surgery. That's the update on becoming members of a certain age group.
And that brings us to the end of 2015. May 2016 bring you joy, health and fun journeys.
